SCLS owns LEGO brand and similar block kits that member libraries can borrow to enhance youth programs.
Who can borrow these kits?
Youth services librarians/member library staff from the South Central Library System
How do we borrow the kits?
Contact SCLS Delivery at: storykits [at] sclsdelivery.info (storykits[at]sclsdelivery[dot]info) or 608/266-6039 to schedule a time to borrow any of the kits.
How long can we keep the kits?
Libraries can keep the kits for 5 days.
Available kits and contents:
DUPLO kit
- 550 Duplo bricks (no need to count these out!)
- 3 large gray base plates
- 6 medium green base plates
- 2 medium blue base plates
- 5 large Ziploc storage bags – please put all Duplos back in these bags before packing them in the SCLS Delivery bin.
Flexiblock kit
- 720 Flexiblock bricks (no need to count these out!)
- 2 clear storage containers – please put all Flexiblocks back in these containers before packing them in the SCLS Delivery bin.
LEGO kit
- 4050 Lego bricks (no need to count these out!)
- 10 small green base plates
- 6 medium-sized green base plates
- 3 medium-sized blue base plates
- 3 blue Lego storage containers – please put all Legos back in these containers before packing them in the SCLS Delivery bin.
