Kits & Equipment

Staff from SCLS member libraries can borrow game packages, computer labs, maker kits, and other equipment from the South Central Library System. These kits are intended for library programs, staff training, and other library activities led by member library staff. Kits cannot be reserved and used by library patrons.

Reminders:

  • Delivery/SCA will NOT be cleaning/disinfecting kit contents either before sending out or after receiving back.
  • If anything is wrong with a kit, or if anything is broken, please communicate this directly via phone or email, not via paper notes inside the kit. Kits will NOT be opened by SCLS staff UNLESS notified of a problem.

Note: availability of packages and equipment is not guaranteed as requests are entered in the order received. You'll receive an email when your request is confirmed.

Equipment will be sent to and from the requesting library through the SCLS Delivery system. SCLS will add 48 hours onto either side of your reservation request to allow time for preparation and delivery of equipment. Please keep this in mind when making your reservation.
