1. Call to order time 10:05am

2. Approval of previous meeting minutes:
a. Minutes for August meeting were approved.
3. Action items :
a. None
4. Discussion items:
a. Cost-Formula Workgroup
i. The cost formula workgroup will be meeting soon to discuss evaluating and formalizing a new cost formula for member delivery fees.
ii. Corey shared some initial data and visuals of volume and stop counts that would show where our costs are being incurred at delivery
iii. These will be the foundation for the discussion with the workgroup
b. Statewide Delivery Coordination
i. Corey shared a brief update on the progress of transitioning to 5-day statewide delivery (beginning in January) and two “hand-off” locations that will begin for Southwest Wisconsin Library System and Winding Rivers Library System
1. Materials will be channeled to the system headquarters for local delivery to nearby campuses in communities already served by these system delivery services
c. BNAW update
i. Formal approvals via committee and full Madison City Council have been completed
ii. The site sits on Madison’s southeast side off of Agriculture Drive.
iii. Keller is updating plans and preparing for estimates on building materials and related costs.
d. Scheduling Updates:
i. Along with the new 5-day service, Brad Guenther has worked up a new staff schedule grid that we will begin applying in January. We have some subtle changes to the schedule that will have minimal impact on library delivery.
ii. As we move into 2022, we are looking to address the afternoon service levels on Fridays.
1. The effort will be to make return trips to libraries that we can consolidate the most volume to maintain maximum efficiency of these runs.
