4. Discussion
a. Site visits follow-up
i. Discussion: The site visits for Polaris have been completed. We have continued to reach out to SirsiDynix customers to find libraries currently using BlueCloud Circulation and Cataloging. Detroit Public is using BlueCloud Circulation. The Circulation Evaluation Workgroup meets tomorrow to discuss scheduling a virtual site visit. SirsiDynix customers using Technical Services modules were contacted, but they are using Workflows software. Feedback from workgroups so far has indicated that staff would be interested in connecting with libraries even if they are using the Workflows client, because it is the same interface as the browser-based SymphonyWeb.
b. Vendor Viability responses
i. Discussion: Questions were sent to vendors to ask them about their company and customers. We will work getting on getting a summary out to this group via email as soon as possible.
c. Topic work group meeting summary
i. Discussion: All the ILS Evaluation topic workgroups are meeting in November and December. ILS Staff will be using these meetings to determine where people are at with the ILS Evaluation. Then they will work on preliminary reports based on functionality. These would go to the lead group for review and then costs would be assessed as part of the final recommendation.
d. January meeting date
i. Discussion: Technically this group would be scheduled to meet on January 1. The group was fine with canceling the January meeting.
e. Questions
i. None.
5. Plan for the Next meeting: February 5, 2025 at 11:30 am via Zoom
