3. Action Items

a. Recommend ideas for potential 2025 SCLS Foundation funds. The SCLS Foundation will have $5997 available for SCLS to spend.

i. Escape Room props kit. There are puzzles, ciphers, etc that could be included in a variety of escape room scenarios, but they are expensive.

ii. Zspace kit (inspired by Tech Days session “Virtual Reality for Career Readiness”). Estimate: laptop, glasses and stylus is $1,299.

iii. Other suggestions?

4. Reports

a. IDEA Team.

b. Social Work Intern Cohort – nothing to report, but it is open to more libraries and sign-ups are welcome.

a. SCLS Kit Team update

b. Contact form ideas – form was not sending email notifications so these are since June:

i. Envisionware lockers (POY) – want to more info on other libraries using exterior lockers and whether there are grants or funding assistance available. Referred to Vicki Teal Lovely.

ii. Icons on public computers suggestion from MTH (GCF Global) – This would go to the Technology Committee if a change is requested. Tip: this link is also on the Resources for Job Seekers page too (along with other Computer Skills training resources).
