SCLS Supports Programming Efforts of Public Libraries
South Central recognizes the important role programming plays in the delivery of library services to youth. LINK data indicates that circulation of juvenile materials dramatically increases on days when libraries have programs for children. SCLS libraries diligently work to provide youth programs throughout the year; all libraries deserve recognition and support for the services they provide for children and families.
SCLS helps member libraries provide programs for youth and families. SCLS provides collections of materials, either managed directly by the System or by individual public libraries, which support public library efforts. Please contact Shawn Brommer with any questions regarding these collections:
