Access

• Patrons may not use SCLS PCs configured as SCLS Staff PCs.
• Neither staff nor patrons may attach non-SCLS-supported devices to the SCLS network.
• Software requiring elevated user privileges cannot be installed on SCLS-supported devices.
• Neither staff nor patrons may extend or modify wired or wireless network access to SCLS-supported resources using non-SCLS supported devices without explicit consent from the SCLS Network Administrator. This does not include the SCLS as ISP service nor extensions that have already been permitted. These devices include but are not limited to:
  • switches
  • hubs
  • routers
  • wireless access points
  • wifi extenders, boosters, or repeaters
  • packet capture appliances
